BENEFITS OF AFFILIATION

NO ROYALTY

We do not collect royalty from the Affiliated Centres. Such, the Affiliated Karate Schools need not have to pay any part or percentage from the monthly fees or admission fees which they collect from their students.

FREEDOM

The Affiliated Centres have the absolute freedom and liberty to keep any name for their karate schools, charge any fees from their students, conduct demonstrations and exhibitions for their own publicity.

 ADVANCE TRAINING

The Official Instructors Training is being organized at our Headquarters at regular intervals. Successful Karate Instructors are invited once a year for their advanced training in Karate and Oriental Weapons.

 BLACK BELT GRADATION

After completing the official training programme, the Instructors are entitled to apply for their higher grading examinations. Successful candidates are awarded Belts and Certificates by the Grand Master of O.M.A.A.

The Black belt certificates issued by O.M.A.A are valid throughout the World.

INSTRUCTOR’S PASS BOOK

The Instructors of Affiliated Centres are issued with the “Instructor’s Authority Pass Books” qualifying them to act as Instructors of O.M.A.A. . The pass books also hold the record of Instructor’s Gradation, which is valid for one full year and can be renewed along with the affiliation.

DEPUTY EXAMINERS

The Senior Black Belt Instructors are made as Deputy Examiners of O.M.A.A authorizing them to conduct grading examinations to their students. O.M.A.A also sends Examiners from the Headquarters to the affiliated centres on request.

KARATE CHAMPIONSHIPS

O.M.A.A holds Karate Championships at State, National and International levels. Only Instructors and students from affiliated centres holding the identity cards and certificates are eligible for participation. The Karate and Kick-Boxing Championships organized by O.M.A.A are recognized by the respective Sport Federations.

JUDGES AND REFEREES SEMINARS

The black belt instructors of affiliated centres are being trained to become judges and Referees for Karate and Kick-Boxing Championships. The judges and Referees Certificate examinations are conducted every year a day prior to the National Championships.

 NATIONAL RECOGNITION

The O.M.A.A  is approved by the All India Karate – Do Federation (AIKF). The AIKF is a member of Asian Karate Federation and World Karate Federation. The AIKF is recognized by the Indian Olympic Association, Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs, Govt of India.

Tai Kyo Ku Shodan, Tai Kyo Ku Nidan, Tai Kyo Ku Sandan, Tai Kyo Ku Yondan, Tai Kyo Ku Godan, Heian Shodan, Heian Nidan, Heian Sandan, Heian Yondan, Heian Godan, Tekki shodan, Tekki Nidan, Tekki Sandan.

ADVANCED KATAS

Basai-Dai, Basai-Sho, Kanku-Dai, Kanku-Sho, Empi, Hangetsu, Jion, Jitte, Gankaku, Sochin, Giin, Meikyo, Chintei, Gojushiho, Gojushiho-Dai, Nijushiho, Wankan, Unsu.

WEAPONS

BO, Nunchaku (Single and Double) Sai, Kama, Tonfa and Swords.

KUMITE RULES

WKF Kumite rules are followed for all our State, National and International Karate Championships.
